A Message to Our Customers

We understand during these unprecedented times that some of our customers are facing financial challenges during this COVID-19 pandemic. Which is why the Board of Directors and District Management have come together to ensure that all customers have access to safe clean water, especially during this public health emergency.

South Montebello Irrigation District has taken action to temporarily suspend late charges and water shut offs during this crisis. The temporary suspension of late fees and shut offs for non payment is effective through June 1, 2020. Outstanding balances for accounts that run past the disconnection date will be due once the temporary suspension expires.

We encourage our customers to contact us if they would like to make payment arrangements at (323) 721-4735, during business hours 8am-4pm. Monday through Friday. Payments can be made weekly/monthly using our night drop off box located in front of our building or by using xpressbillpay ( www.xpressbillpay.com ) or by Calling 855-215-5363

South Montebello Irrigation District is Currently following preventative measures issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The health and safety of South Montebello Irrigation Districts customers and employees are the most important priority at this time and we will continue to monitor CoronaVirus (COVID-19).

Beginning March 18, 2020 Our offices will be closed to the public until further notice. Our Customer Service team will still be available to assist you via phone at (323)-721-4735 Monday through Friday 8am-4pm.

The best way to limit your possibility of getting Corona Virus (COVID-19) is to limit your exposure to people and consistent hand washing. Taking these recommendations by the CDC into consideration, South Montebello Irrigation District encourages customers to use the online/phone resources provided by xpressbillpay ( www.xpressbillpay.com ) and the night deposit box located in front of South Montebello Irrigation Districts office to pay their water bills at this time.

Tap water provided by South Montebello Irrigation District is safe to drink, There is NO evidence that drinking water will be impacted by Corona Virus (COVID-19).
In case of an emergency water outage, South Montebello Irrigation District will work as diligently as we can to get water services working again for our customers.
